The Software Engineering degree programme is aimed at producing graduates who can handle and maintain large and complex software solutions. The objectives of the programme are to produce graduates who have:

• interest and passion for software engineering and its capabilities;
• an extensive and composed foundation in software engineering knowledge and practical skills;
• a broad range of relevant transferable information technology and computing skills applicable to virtually all aspects of human endeavours;
• good appreciation of the importance of software in industrial, economic, technological and social contexts; and
• knowledge and skill-base for future studies in software engineering or interrelated multi-disciplinary studies.
