Department of Economics is to provide quality education and professional training leading to the award of B.Sc (Economics) which may be awarded with honours and/or a pass degree.

To realize this mission, the curricular are designed to be very rich and detail. Apart from the core courses in Economics, the students are exposed to foundation courses in English, Management,  Mathematics, Computer and Philosophy/Logic as background for problem solving.
