Olajide Omojarabi is a First-Class graduate of Statistics, Federal University Lokoja, Kogi
State. He finished as the top 1% among his peers. He was a recipient of the Faculty of Science
First year best student, Department of Mathematical Sciences and Vice Chancellor’s Award of
Academic excellence as the Overall Best Graduating Student, in 2017 and 2021, respectively.
Due to his strong academic background, Olajide was awarded the African Institute for
Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) scholarship to pursue his master’s degree at the African
mathematical center in Rwanda. He thrives on challenges and continuously set goals for
himself. He is not comfortable with dormancy, and always looking for an opportunity to do
better and achieve greatness. I have been involved in different leadership positions through
nominations and I achieved admirable feats. Olajide has also taught and mentored many
undergraduate students in the field of Statistics and Mathematics.
