Bamidele Oladapo Opeyemi joined the Faculty of Computing and Applied sciences in May 2023 and has been able to effectively fit into the faculty team helping to improve the well-being and academic success of the students.

Mr. Bamidele earned a Bachelor of science degree in Microbiology from the University of Ilorin in 2011 which was immediately followed by a Master of science degree in Environmental Microbiology from the University of Ibadan in 2014 where his dissertation research focused on isolating and characterizing bacteria that could subsist on antibiotics as sole carbon source. 

As a new entrant into the world academia and research, he is ready to cut his teeth with the erudite faculty team members.

Mr. Bamidele is highly committed to the task of raising the next generation of scientists to conquer new frontiers of science and transform the landscape of knowledge in Nigeria, Africa and beyond with innovative and problem solving researches.

His hobbies are playing chess and reading biographies.
