Dr. Olumide Olaoye is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Thomas Adewumi University, Oko, Kwara State, Nigeria. He is currently undertaking his postdoctoral research fellowship in South Africa, focusing on advanced studies in Development Economics and Public Policy.
Dr. Olaoye holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has a strong academic background in macroeconomic theory, policy analysis, and quantitative methods. At Thomas Adewumi University, he has contributed significantly to teaching, research, and academic mentoring, especially in the areas of public sector economics, economic development, and econometrics.
His current postdoctoral engagement in South Africa is part of a broader scholarly pursuit to deepen his research capacity, expand international collaborations, and contribute to cutting-edge discourse on African economic development. Despite his temporary research placement, Dr. Olaoye remains an integral part of the TAU academic community.
