Dr Abiodun Atoyebi Ajibola
Dr. Ajibola Abiodun is an accomplished academic with expertise in inorganic chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has devoted his career to teaching and researching chemical sciences. Dr. Ajibola started his academic journey at the University of Ilorin, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry before proceeding to obtain his Master's and Ph.D. from the same institution. His research focused on the synthesis and characterization of novel inorganic compounds.
Following his Ph.D., Dr. Ajibola joined the Department of Chemical Sciences at Crown-Hill University and later joined Thomas Adewumi University as a lecturer I. He has since climbed the ranks and now serves as the Head of the Department of Chemical Sciences (Chemistry Unit), overseeing academic programs, research activities, and overall unit management. Dr. Ajibola is dedicated to teaching and has been recognized for his exceptional classroom skills, constantly developing innovative teaching methods to enhance his students' learning experiences.
Aside from his teaching and administrative responsibilities, Dr. Ajibola is an active researcher. His research interests are diverse, ranging from the synthesis and characterization of new inorganic compounds to the development of novel compounds with potent biological activity and the study of materials by examining their magnetic properties, TGA, Single-crystal XRD, and molecular docking studies. Dr. Ajibola has published several research papers in reputable international journals.
Dr. Ajibola is a member of various professional bodies, including the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN) and the American Chemistry Society (ACS), and is a reviewer for reputable international journals in the chemistry field.
