Dr. Samuel T. Farohunbi is a passionate biochemist, ICT enthusiast, and dedicated academic leader at Thomas Adewumi University. Currently serving as the Acting Head of the Department of Biological Sciences, he specializes in enzymology, drug discovery, and molecular biology research. Known for his dynamic and student-centered teaching approach, Samuel combines deep scientific expertise with a strong focus on technology integration.
In addition to his academic duties, he chairs the Admissions, Marketing, and Linkages Committee and coordinates Human Capacity Development, organizing training and seminars that enhance staff and community skills. Samuel is also a skilled public speaker and freelance writer, actively engaging in conversations around biochemistry, AI-driven technology, digital marketing, and leadership.
He notably hosted TAU’s first Faculty Lecture and the university’s inaugural international conference, IndabaX 2023, reflecting his commitment to advancing research and innovation. Friendly, strategic, and forward-thinking, Samuel exemplifies excellence in both scholarship and administration.
