PharmAccess Foundation, a health insurance agency domiciled in Kwara State, visited Thomas Adewumi University to sensitize the staff of the university on the importance of the Kwara Care Health Insurance Scheme. The health agency was represented by its Project lead, Dr. Bukola Shittu Muyideen, who is in charge of marketing and advocating.

Dr. Ezekiel Olatunji represented the vice-chancellor and staff assembled at the University’s auditorium to attend the event. Dr. Bukola Shittu enlightened the attendees on the essence of having access to affordable quality health care as residents of Kwara State.

She went on to analyze the advantages of Kwara Care, an health Insurance Scheme implemented in 2017 by the State Government for easier access to health care by every resident of the State. Provisions have been made for every category of persons including students studying in tertiary institutions within the state.

The event was an interactive session that ended with a series of questions from staff and satisfactory answers from Dr. Bukola Shittu Muyideen. A group photograph was taken to wrap up the event.
