TAU Vice-Chancellor joins Vice-chancellors of Nigerian universities to attend Green-university-themed webinar.

The Vice-chancellor, Professor Francisca Oladipo together with other Vice-chancellors of Nigerian Universities, attended a virtual webinar tagged, “Lowering Printing Cost While Attaining Green Operation Listing In Nigeria Universities; A Case for Eco-friendly (Reprographic) Ink and Toner Cartridges” earlier this morning.

This webinar was targeted towards discussing the cost and environmental impacts of cartridges, choices made and disclosure to attain global green universities, and a call to action to implement these changes. Bearing in mind that universities worldwide have the bulk of their budget earmarked for the operation of printing/copying, and duplicating. Delegates present and those representing their respective vice-chancellor contributed and asked questions actively throughout the session of the virtual meeting.

The workshop facilitator, Lateef Salami is a fellow of the International Sustainability Academy, ISA, Hamburg, Germany, and also the founder, of Ecopath, Eco-friendly alternatives for reprographic consumables. Other attendees are John Ogidi, and Ralf Tischendorf, to mention a few.
