Thomas Adewumi University has joined others to partner with Namibia University of Science and technology in hosting the 2022 International Conference on Information Systems and Emerging Technologies (ICISSET) held by the Faculty of Computing and Informatics.
The newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Thomas Adewumi University, Professor, Fransisca O. Oladipo will be among the 5 keynote speakers at the international conference. The other keynote speakers are Ms. Machaka Mosehana of Johannesburg Business School, University of Johannesburg, Prof. Anicia Peters from the University of Namibia, Prof. Randall Carolissen from Johannesburg Business School, University of Johannesburg, and Prof. Irwin Brown from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
The international conference is said to hold virtually and physically and will take place from the 23rd to the 25th of November 2022. The convention will be a platform for researchers and practitioners from academia as well as industry to present and examine recent innovations, trends, results, experiences, and concerns in the diverse aspects of Information Systems.
Other partners of the International Conference on Information Systems and Emerging Technologies include the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN), National Commission on Research Science and Technology (NCRST), Federal University of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA), Ghana Communication Technology University, University of Namibia, International University of Management (IUM), Federal University of Lokoja, Johannesburg Business School (JBS).
The conference proceedings will be hosted on Elsevier SSRN, an open-access online preprint community providing valuable services to leading academic schools and government institutions. The Final Paper Submission is on the 1st of August, while the Authors’ Notification will be on the 20th of September. The Camera Ready and Registration will also hold on the 12th of October.
