The Governing Council of Thomas Adewumi University, Oko-Irese, Kwara State, has officially commended the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Francisca O. In a prestigious letter of commendation dated March 19, 2025, the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Professor Victor Olarewaju, celebrated Professor Oladipo’s transformative achievements, describing her tenure as one of groundbreaking success and unwavering dedication to academic and institutional excellence.

Under her dynamic leadership, Thomas Adewumi University has recorded landmark achievements, including the introduction of 27 postgraduate programmes, an outstanding increase in student enrollment, and the seamless hosting of the university’s maiden convocation ceremony. Beyond academics, she has prioritized staff and student welfare, financial prudence, and corporate social responsibility, ensuring that Thomas Adewumi University continues to make a meaningful impact both within and beyond its walls.

Perhaps most significantly, under her leadership, the university has attracted over $100,000 in grants, reinforcing its position as an institution dedicated to research, innovation, and sustainable development.
