Following an engaging and productive discussion on potential collaboration, the Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Noah Yusuf, and the esteemed Management Team were treated to an enlightening campus tour at Thomas Adewumi University. The tour provided a unique opportunity for the Al-Hikmah delegation to experience the state-of-the-art facilities and centers that make TAU a hub of academic excellence and innovation.
Led by Prof. Francisca Oladipo, the Vice-Chancellor of Thomas Adewumi University, the team was taken on a journey through TAU's sprawling campus, showcasing the institution's impressive infrastructure and architectural marvels. The guided tour included visits to modern lecture halls, well-equipped Engineering laboratories, the University E-Learning center, the University's technologically advanced library, and the University Farm. One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to the University’s Solar farm, where the Al-Hikmah University team witnessed the University's achievements in renewable energy projects. Prof. Francisca explained that the center had played a pivotal role in implementing solar power initiatives on the campus, effectively reducing the institution's carbon footprint.
Throughout the tour, the delegation engaged in discussions with the TAU Vice-Chancellor, and the Director of Physical Planning and Development, Engr. Olanrewaju Ilesanmi, exchanging ideas and experiences and laying the groundwork for potential future collaborations. The visit concluded with a heartfelt farewell, as both Universities expressed their eagerness to continue exploring areas of mutual interest and working together towards shared goals. The campus tour proved to be a rewarding and enlightening journey for the Vice-Chancellor and Management Team of Al-Hikmah University. The visit to Thomas Adewumi University further strengthened the ties between the two institutions, fostering a collaborative environment where both entities could integrate the knowledge gained from their respective academic pursuits.
