Thomas Adewumi University has recorded another major milestone in its internationalisation drive, having successfully secured funding under the Erasmus+ Programme KA171 Mobility Scheme. The funding will support staff and student mobility for teaching and academic exchange at the Lodz University of Technology (TUL), Poland.

The mobility programme will be implemented under an Inter-Institutional Erasmus+ Agreement established between both universities, spanning a three-year period from 2025 to 2028. The initiative is designed to foster global academic collaboration, enhance teaching quality, and provide participants with valuable international exposure.

The Erasmus+ KA171 programme offers a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and cross-cultural engagement, aligning with Thomas Adewumi University’s vision of producing globally competitive graduates and advancing research excellence.

Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca O. Oladipo, described the achievement as a significant step forward in the institution’s global engagement efforts. She noted that the partnership would open new frontiers for both staff and students, providing access to international best practices in teaching, learning, and research.
