Thomas Adewumi University, Oko Irese has launched two Major Academic journals, Thomas Adewumi University Law and Development Journal (TAULDJ) and International Journal of Law and Policy (IJLP).

The Law and Development journal focuses on scholarship that displays the nexus between law and contemporary developmental concerns. The Editorial Board has disclosed that “contributions that are purely analytical, economical, developmental, sociological, or political that adopt the interdisciplinary scholarly approach involving these fields in connection with the law are welcome”. In addition, articles from legal history, comparative law, and law reform are equally anticipated.

The second journal that has been launched is the International Journal of Law and Policy (IJLP). The academic journal focuses on scholarship that displays a connection between law and contemporary concerns. The Editorial Board has stated that “contributions that are purely theological, sociological, or political will not be considered, but interdisciplinary work involving these fields in connection with the law are welcome”. In addition, articles from legal history, comparative law, and law reform are anticipated as well.
 
The Editorial Board has called for submissions of well-researched papers/articles, case notes, statutes, and book reviews, for publication in Volume 1 No 1 (2022) of the two journals.
