In a bid to explore sustainable energy solutions for stable electricity on campus, a delegation from Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State, has commended Thomas Adewumi University (TAU) for its commitment to renewable energy following a visit to the institution’s 214KW solar farm.
Led by Dr. Bright Nwamadi, Executive Director of Internal Audit, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Solomon A. Adebola, the team toured the solar facility, the institution’s primary power source, and the powerhouse housing its batteries and inverters.
Impressed by TAU’s commitment to technological advancement and self-sufficiency, Dr. Nwamadi commended the institution’s strides in sustainable energy management, describing the project as a model for higher education institutions seeking alternative power solutions.
The visit concluded with a group photograph, reinforcing the growing collaboration between both universities in the pursuit of innovation and sustainability.
