Dr. Raphael S. Awoseyin has over 40 year’s International experience in the upstream and downstream sectors of the petroleum industry in Nigeria, United Kingdom, and the Middle East. His experience covers project management, engineering, operations, and business project integration. He led formulation of company technical standards and procedures; he also championed skills and career development planning for engineering, projects, and operations personnel. For three years, he served as industry representative on the Engineering Faculty Board of University of Benin, where he promoted alignment of the engineering curriculum with industry. While in Shell Petroleum, he led implementation of SAP (ERP system) for the largest Shell E&P Company in the world.

Dr. Awoseyin graduated with First Class Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Greenwich, London and obtained a PhD in the same Mechanical Engineering with specialization in fluid mechanics. He is also a graduate of both IMD (Laussanne) and Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania) Executive Development Programmes. He is a master of Business Process Re-engineering. A chartered engineer in both the UK and Nigeria; he is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE) and of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE). He has been published in international professional journals.

He is founder and Chief Executive of Danite Limited – a company that offers Engineering, Technology, and Board-level consultancy services to the upstream sector of the petroleum industry.

Raphael Awoseyin is a keen software developer, he has developed and published several applications for engineering, project management, security, and Christian ministry. He is married with children.
