In a momentous achievement for Thomas Adewumi University, the Biochemistry programme recently underwent its accreditation exercise by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The evaluation, conducted last week, marked the culmination of the University's accreditation efforts.
The NUC Accreditation team, comprised of Mrs. Babayode Alimot (NUC representative), Prof. Samuel Asagba (Chair of the Panel), and Prof. Chioma Anosike (team member), meticulously assessed the Biochemistry Programme. Their primary focus encompassed the academic curriculum, faculty qualifications, infrastructure, research facilities, and adherence to NUC guideline
The opening meeting of this final accreditation exercise was honored by the presence of the University Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Victor Olanrewaju. Addressing the gathering on behalf of the Governing Council and the Management team, the Pro-Chancellor extended a warm welcome to the NUC accreditation team, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support and cooperation received from the NUC.
