TAU Physiotherapists Went Head-to-Head for COBES Presentation

The 300-level students of Physiotherapy students who went for their Community Based Experience Scheme (COBES) last month presented to the entire community of Thomas Adewumi University and their parents and guardians who joined virtually.

The students, who were divided into two groups gave impressive presentations. The audience didn’t only witness how the COBES program has transformed their mindset positively but also saw how they positively impacted the Omupo community within the two weeks period of their stay clinical trials.

The Co-founder of Thomas Adewumi University, Dr. (Mrs.) Gloria Adewumi commended the two groups and encouraged them to keep up with the good work, as every successful path in life has its own challenges. She also expressed her gratitude to the members of staff who have helped train the students.

The Dean of Basic, Medical and Health Sciences, Dr. Adunmo showed his satisfaction with their performances and added that the two groups did excellently well but, as the tradition of every competition, there must be a winner. He announced the winner of the presentation as Group B and included that emerging winners are entitled to a Dean prize of ten thousand naira.
