TAU management held a meeting with Agile Tower on innovative ideas to move the varsity forward

A virtual meeting was held in the early hours of this morning, involving principal officers of Thomas Adewumi University and Abiodun Idris Oladipo of Agile Towers. Idris has a track record of being at the forefront of activating e-learning in Nigeria unity schools during the covid-19 pandemic. He successfully led the team that ensured learning didn’t stop for students of the Nigerian unity schools due to the strike of covid-19 in 2020.

A virtual meeting was held in the early hours of this morning, involving principal officers of Thomas Adewumi University and Abiodun Idris Oladipo of Agile Towers. Idris has a track record of being at the forefront of activating e-learning in Nigeria unity schools during the covid-19 pandemic. He successfully led the team that ensured learning didn’t stop for students of the Nigerian unity schools due to the strike of covid-19 in 2020.

As a friend of the institution, Agile Towers is ready to partner with TAU to bring to fruition its dream of becoming one of the leading Nigerian University, that is not just internet complaints but also a 4th industrial revolution trainer. Idris pitched about 8 innovative ideas to the management in his presentation. Some of which involve introducing conversion programs from HND to BSC degrees, nanodegrees in new fields such as Drone Building and Piloting, Product Management, Growth Marketing, Data analytics, and data science, AI and Machine Learning, Diploma in Cinematography and Animation, Full Stack Web and Mobile Programme, amongst others. Mr. Idris also mentioned the value of organizing boot camps and career mentorship. He added that TAU can also have an Innovation hub, that can serve as an idea factory and offer technical assistance for businesses in Kwara State and neighboring States.

The Chancellor and co-founder, together with the Vice-chancellor, and other management staff, were quite satisfied with the ideas pitched by Mr. Abiodun Idris Oladipo and moved a motion for immediate action plans on how to achieve the proposed ideas. Without an inch of a doubt, our institution of learning is set to produce world-class graduates.
