The Vice-Chancellor, on behalf of the Management, Staff, and Students of Thomas Adewumi University, Oko, Kwara State, has joined the family and well-wishers in celebrating Professor Yakubu Ochefu, the Secretary General of the Committee of Vice-chancellor of Nigerian Universities, on his birthday celebration.

Professor Ochefu, who has served in several capacities within the educational sector has a proven record of great leadership.

TAU appoints steering committees for new programmes

Another giant step has been taken as TAU inaugurates the steering committees for the establishment of two new programmes namely: Public Health and Environmental Sciences which will be domiciled in the Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences. While the Faculty of Engineering will house three (3) basic Engineering programmes namely: Electrical, Civil and Chemical Engineering. This new development was revealed during the Fourth (4th) regular Senate meeting of the University, on Thursday 26th January, 2023.
