TAU Inaugurates Student Disciplinary Committee

Thomas Adewumi University, Oko Irese, inaugurated a Student Disciplinary Committee (SDC) on Wednesday, 19th of October, 2022 at the Senate Chamber. The inauguration of the disciplinary committee was chaired by the vice-chancellor, Professor Francisca Oladipo, and members of the committee were in attendance.

TAU Inaugurates Student Disciplinary Committee

Thomas Adewumi University, Oko Irese, inaugurated a Student Disciplinary Committee (SDC) on Wednesday, 19th of October, 2022 at the Senate Chamber. The inauguration of the disciplinary committee was chaired by the vice-chancellor, Professor Francisca Oladipo, and members of the committee were in attendance.
 
The Student Disciplinary Committee consists of 8 members and the acting Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Olatunji, is the Chairman. Members of the SDC include Mr. Usman (Registrar), Dr. Ishola (Ag. Dean, FMSS), Dr. Oduwaiye (Ag. Dean, Students Care Services), Dr. Olorunmola (Coordinator, Department. of Criminology and Security Studies) and Mr. Farohunbi.
 
Miss Aladeloye, who is a 300-level student of Nursing Science, is a Student Representative and member of the SDC, while Miss Adewumi Esq. (Director of Legal Services) is the secretary. The committee is responsible for all matters relating to students’ discipline.
 
The Chairman of the committee, Dr. Olatunji appreciated the Vice-Chancellor for the platform to serve the institution while promising the committee’s full dedication to the assignment given.

Another giant step has been taken as TAU inaugurates the steering committees for the establishment of two new programmes namely: Public Health and Environmental Sciences which will be domiciled in the Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences.
