The entire community of Thomas Adewumi University sends Condolences to the family of the Late Prof. Akanbi (the Vice-chancellor of Kwara State University) and to the entire community of Kwara State University, Malete.

On behalf of, the Founder of Thomas Adewumi University who is also the Chancellor of Kwara State University, the Co-founder, the Governing Council, and BOT, the Vice-chancellor, Management, Staff, and students of Thomas Adewumi University, Our hearts are heavy as we join other Universities to remember the family of Late Professor Akanbi SAN, the Vice-chancellor of Kwara state University and to the entire community of Kwara State University in our prayers.

TAU appoints steering committees for new programmes

Another giant step has been taken as TAU inaugurates the steering committees for the establishment of two new programmes namely: Public Health and Environmental Sciences which will be domiciled in the Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences. While the Faculty of Engineering will house three (3) basic Engineering programmes namely: Electrical, Civil and Chemical Engineering. This new development was revealed during the Fourth (4th) regular Senate meeting of the University, on Thursday 26th January, 2023.
