TAU 300level Nursing Students Complete First Clinicals

The first clinical program for Thomas Adewumi University’s 300-level students is gradually rounding up. The program which commenced about six weeks ago has helped them gain practical knowledge and training with experts from the General Hospital Ilorin.

They have had rigorous training at various units across the hospital, which includes, Maternity, theater, and Accident and Emergency. While celebrating the completion of their first clinical earlier today, they had a photo session with some of the heads of the units. Mrs. Ahmed, Deputy HOD Theater department, Mr. Teniola Joseph, HOD Nursing Accident, and Emergency.

Also appearing in the photos are the Head of the Nursing Department and the Dean of Basic, Medical, and Health Sciences of Thomas Adewumi University, Dr. Ayeni and Dr. Adunmo, respectively, who had visited the hospital to oversee the reports on the students performances over the last couple of weeks. We say a big congratulations to our scholars and encourage them to keep being resilient.
