Admission Requirement(s)
To be considered for admission into the Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

General Entry Requirements:
- Candidates must have obtained a minimum of five (5) credits in either WAEC, NECO, GCE (Ordinary Level), or its equivalents, including English Language, Mathematics, and any three subjects from the Science or Social Sciences.

Bachelor’s Degree:
- Applicants must possess a completed undergraduate degree, typically in Computer Science or a closely related field, from an accredited institution.

Academic Transcripts:
- Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended must be submitted, demonstrating a strong academic record throughout the candidate’s undergraduate studies.

GPA:
- A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required for eligibility for the program.

Letters of Recommendation:
- Candidates must provide three (3) letters of recommendation from professors, employers, or professionals who can speak to their academic abilities, research potential, and suitability for graduate study in Computer Science.

Statement of Purpose:
- A written statement outlining the candidate’s academic and professional goals, research interests, and reasons for pursuing the M.Sc. in Computer Science. This statement should demonstrate the candidate’s motivation, career objectives, and fit for the program.

Qualifying Examination:
- All candidates may be required to take a qualifying written examination. Admission will be based on performance in this examination, as well as other application requirements.
