TAU appoints steering committees for new programmes

Another giant step has been taken as TAU inaugurates the steering committees for the establishment of two new programmes namely: Public Health and Environmental Sciences which will be domiciled in the Faculty of Basic Medical and Health Sciences. While the Faculty of Engineering will house three (3) basic Engineering programmes namely: Electrical, Civil and Chemical Engineering. This new development was revealed during the Fourth (4th) regular Senate meeting of the University, on Thursday 26th January, 2023.

TAU Holds fifth Extra-ordinary Senate Meeting

CBN Visits TAU to Discuss Food Value Chain Development Scheme

Thomas Adewumi University received representatives from the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Gbolahan Olomide, and Mr. Abdulrahman Daibu on Thursday, 3rd of November, 2020. The purpose of the visit is to guide Thomas Adewumi University on the processes of applying for the Tertiary Institution Cassava Value Chain Development Initiative, a subset of the CBN Food Value Chain Development Scheme.

Students of Prime-Time Nursery and Primary School visited Thomas Adewumi University's water factory. The students who were accompanied by their teachers were received by the manager of the water factory, Mr. Isaac Adeniyi (MIPAN, MNIM).

TAU to Strengthen Farmland Retail Arm

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Oladipo, took a farm survey with the Director of Ventures, Mr. Lanre Oladimeji, Director of Works, Engr. Lanre Ilesanmi and Mr. Femi Ayorinde. The visit was to take stock of all livestock and plantations at Thomas Adewumi University Farm and to strategize how to improve farming, increase production and introduce more diversity.

TAU to partner with Coursera for enhanced skills-building

Thomas Adewumi University today announced the progress on the next steps towards a new integration partnership with Coursera, one of the world’s largest Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC) providers. This is to ensure that the members of the university community and the sister institution, TAICO, are able to access the benefits of the online learning platforms.

FUL, Prof. Ibileye Expressed Satisfaction In TAU

Thomas Adewumi University gained another positive review from Professor Gbenga Ibileye, Dean of Post Graduate Studies, Federal University of Lokoja, while he visited TAU campus earlier today. "TAU is an institution that has advertised itself over the years, starting from the lowest profile of the educational program. Prime-time primary school, to the founding of the secondary school, TAICO, which has records of laudable achievements, and now the existence of the University", he said.
