UTME: TAU CBT Center Receives High Praise from JAMB's Chief External Examiner

The Chief External Examiner of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Wahab Egbewole, paid a visit to Thomas Adewumi University CBT center while the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) was ongoing.


The visit, which took place on Wednesday, April 26th, 2023, was aimed at monitoring the conduction of the examination and ensuring that our CBT center adhered to the guidelines and regulations of JAMB.


Upon arrival at the CBT center, Prof. Egbewole, inspected the facilities and infrastructure at the center and observed the conduct of the examination. He engaged with the staff and students present, enquiring about their experiences and challenges during the examination.


Speaking to the Vice-Chancellor ( Prof. Francisca O.Oladipo) after the visit, He expressed his satisfaction with the conduct of the examination, stating that the CBT center had complied with JAMB guidelines and regulations for the UTME.
He also commended the management of the university for their commitment to ensuring that the our center was fully equipped for the examination, and urged other universities and CBT centers to emulate their example.


In response, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof.Franscisa O. Oladipo, thanked Prof. Egbewole for his visit and expressed her appreciation to JAMB for their commitment to ensuring a credible admission process for Nigerian universities. She further assured the Chief External Examiner that the university management would continue to work towards maintaining the required standards for the conduction of the UTME in compliance with JAMB guidelines and regulations.


In conclusion, the visit of the Chief External Examiner to Thomas Adewumi University CBT center during the UTME is a clear indication of JAMB's commitment to ensuring a transparent and credible admission process for Nigerian universities, and serves as a reminder to all stakeholders in the education sector of the importance of compliance with JAMB guidelines and regulations for the conduct of the UTME.
