In a bid to strengthen its commitment to academic excellence and innovation, the University Management hosted a three-day staff retreat, the first of its kind, aimed at fostering collaboration, reflecting on past achievements, and setting strategic goals for the upcoming academic year.

Day one commenced with the opening remarks delivered by the Founder, Engr. Dr. J.B.O Adewumi. He emphasized the institution's commitment to producing reputable graduates poised for positions of influence. "Our goal is to become a world-class institution offering STEM-i programs that operates sustainably, produces exceptional graduates, free of corruption, and provides opportunities for all academically gifted children, regardless of their economic background.”

The Founder further revealed new initiatives for students stating, various work opportunities will now be available for students, including paid positions through the University’s job center, certified vocational technical training at the soon-to-be relaunched vocational center, and the possibility for graduates to earn both degree and diploma certificates.

Building on these aspirations, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Francisca Oladipo, reflected on the University’s remarkable achievements, while also outlining key developments planned for the new academic session. “We look forward to launching our School of Postgraduate Studies, TAU Community FM Radio Station, expanding the MBBS and D. Pharm Programmes, and developing our Distance and E-Learning Program.”

Moving forward, the Director of Quality Assurance, Prof. Adeniyi Adetunji, emphasized on the importance of teamwork as a core institutional value. “Diversity fuels innovation. Varied perspectives lead to creative solutions that enhance academic projects and group collaborations,” he advised.

The retreat concluded with a Q&A session, where staff members’ concerns were addressed, reinforcing the University’s dedication to staff welfare and sustainable growth.
